About us
At the Ty Mawr, we believe that we have the best view and surroundings of any pub in Cardiff. Not far from the suburb of Lisvane, we are perched up in the hills to the north of Cardiff and our views stretch across the entire city and the Bristol channel when there are clear skies. Its ‘country pub’ ambience, large function space and huge lawned beer garden means that we are a fantastic destination all year round. The pub is subtly divided into separate areas, each with its own character and feel and whilst overall maintaining a traditional pub feel. The Barn provides a perfect venue for your business meeting and is also a very popular choice for private parties and other social functions. We have a license to hold wedding ceremonies within our premises for 60 people, and we are also very happy to hold your wedding reception at our venue with your own private bar.
