About us
Ferryman's Tavern, which opened in 1989, was the first tenant in the Waterfront and is still run by the original owners. It has established, over the years, a loyal following of regulars, both from Cape Town and further afield. Set in a prime spot at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Ferryman's is the ideal venue for corporate functions and private parties. The upstairs Restaurant, which caters for a minimum of 70 and maximum of 115 guests for functions, has a big screen and state of the art surround sound system, making it the ideal function venue, for 21st or 50th Birthday Parties, or prize givings and other corporate functions. The Tavern and outside beer garden is warm in Winter & cool and refreshing in Summer – perfectly suited for both private parties and corporate functions. We can cater for up to 400 guests in an informal setting, or 320 people with seating (entire venue).
