THREE EXPERIENCES UNDER ONE ROOF Recognised as one of Cape Town's most exclusive venues with breathtaking views of Table Mountain, Blakes is set over three floors, encompassing an impressive Wine, Whisky & Tapas bar, an intimate Restaurant and a VIP Lounge, thereby offering guests 3 different experiences under one roof. Luxurious, coupled with sexy opulence, BLAKES gives you a true night out. The Opal Lounge Restaurant – Ground Floor Our a la carte restaurant serves fine cuisine in a beautiful environment. In the summer months, the restaurant’s outside deck area will serve dinner and lunch in a 'secret garden' backdrop. A fusion of British and classic French dishes are offered on the menu. The restaurant can be hired exclusively (up to 50 guests maximum). Set Menus are available for parties over 12. Wine, Whisky and Tapas Bar – First Floor Cape Town's newest dedicated Wine & Tapas bar, incorporating a lounge area and bar for tastings, wine and tapas pairings, casual get-togethers or after work wine experiences. Our very own wine geek has fun and novel ways of introducing you to the wines of the world through a whole host of wine tasting special offers and wine tasting parties. The Salon - Second floor Our sophisticated lounge boasts unparalleled views of Table Mountain & Lions Head, a fireplace for those cold winter nights and a deck area to soak up the sun (with those fabulous views), and our signature lounge/house music with resident DJ (Thursday, Friday & Saturday), Come for after work drinks and tapas, canapé and cocktails, private functions, intimate get-togethers to 100 person soirées. Considered very hot by the cognoscenti, Blakes offers a unique experience no matter what the event. BLAKES offers personal and corporate membership with a host of unique member benefits. Situated at 189 Buitengracht Street (in the old Relish/Ginja building), BLAKES is open Tuesdays – Sundays, from 5pm until late. Offering a meeting room with outside deck area, an open floor for breakout or buffet lunch or casual discussion sessions and a floor which has breathtaking views of Table Mountain. This could be used for cocktails and canapes at any point or at the end of the day to conclude the meeting or conference. The building can be tailored to suit any requirement.
