More
The Old Parliament House Gardens located in the heart of the Parliamentary Zone re-opened on 2 December 2004 after undergoing a major reconstruction. The National Capital Authority has restored the Gardens to their former glory, enhancing them with the introduction of features such as seating pavilions, pergolas, rose arbors, pathways, gateways, as well as the refurbishment of the tennis courts and bowling green. The Old Parliament House Gardens are open all year round and entry is free. The Gardens have hosted a variety of events since their opening in December 2004 including Jazz in the Gardens, Friends' lectures, history tours, and weddings. Various areas of the Gardens are available for use. We are located within the National Domain.
