About us

Welcome to The Athenaeum. It is located on Angel Hill in the centre of historic Bury St Edmunds and has a range of accessible facilities with number of additional rooms suitable for conferences, meetings and seminars. Five versatile spaces are available to hire individually or you may choose to hire the whole venue exclusively.

No helium balloons and naked flames across the venue.

Cancellation Policy

30% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking. Full cancellation policy can be found within the event contract.

Additional details

Short stay, pay and display car park is located just outside of the venue on Angel Hill. There is also a long-stay car park within 5-7 minutes walk away from the venue. We are able to offer complimentary parking passes with our DDR rates.
