About us
The Great Northern Hotel in Bundoran Co Donegal is located on 130 acres of parkland and it boasts a beautiful Leisure & Conference Centre. All our 112 bedrooms offers comfortable stay. One of the top 'state-of-the-art' conference locations in Ireland, the centre can hold up to a 1,000 delegates’ theatre style or 700 delegates’ classroom style. Smaller syndicate rooms are also available with top of the range equipment in computers and video equipment links. Over recent years, for example, we have hosted the major conference of all the major teaching unions, including the TUI, ASTI and INTO. We have also hosted the GRA (Garda Representative Association) Conference, POA (Prison Officers Association) and in 2006 we will host the IVEA (Irish Vocational Education Authorities) national conference. We host numerous cross-border conferences and EU meetings, seminars and regional meetings of many of the country's most important associations, trade unions, clubs and groups.
