Boone Tavern is owned by Berea College, the first interracial and coeducational school in the south. Boone Tavern sits at the heart of the beautiful college campus, not far from local craft shops. Berea College was opened in 1855 by Reverend John G. Fee. Berea College focuses on providing tuition-free education to its 1600+ students.
