About us

Opened in 2004, the CCIB (Barcelona International Convention Centre) is one of largest convention centers in Southern Europe and enjoys a privileged location in front of the Mediterranean sea and within the new technological and business district in Barcelona. The CCIB is made up two buildings boasting great architectural flair, the Convention Centre, designed to allow light to play a central role within the space whilst minimizing its visual impact on its environment and the Forum building that has become a world-famous emblem of modern Barcelona with its huge 25m high blue triangle. With a gross surface area of 100,000 sqm and a capacity up to 15,000 delegates, the CCIB stands out for the flexibility and versatility of its spaces which efficiently contribute to the success of small and large-scale events.
