Vail Valley Music Festival is an annual summer classical music festival located in Beaver Creek, Colorado. The festival was founded in 1987 by violinist Ida Kavafian and attorney John Giovando with the initial purpose of presenting a concert series of chamber music. Kavafian had already successfully established the Music from Angel Fire festival in New Mexico and the first several years of the Bravo! festival utilized many of the same performers from Angel Fire. In 1998 flautist and author Eugenia Zukerman became the festival's artistic director. Under her leadership the festival has significantly expanded to include performances of all kinds of classical music by many of the world's leading ensembles. Currently the festival has three resident orchestras: the Rochester Philharmonic, the Philadelphia Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic.

The Vilar Performing Arts Center is located at 68 Avondale Lane in the Market Square building, directly beneath the Black Family Ice Rink on Beaver Creek Plaza. Vehicular and pedestrian entrance available from Avondale Lane with pedestrian access also available from the escalators on plaza level. As the crown jewel of Beaver Creek, the Vilar Performing Arts Center is a magnificent location to host an affair to remember - and is available for private rental.

The Colorado Ski and Snowboard Museum and Hall of Fame preserves and interprets the history of skiing and snowboarding; honors those individuals who have made significant contributions to the sport; and educates the public about Colorado’s rich skiing legacy.
