The Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam is located in one of Amsterdam’s most famous squares, the Dam Square, opposite to the beautiful Royal Palace. Located in the city center, the hotel is a central location for both touristic and business related attractions. The hotel is established in a historic building which dates back to 1865. It shows a unique combination of comfort, style and modernity. Within just a few minutes’ walk you will find the famed Anne Frank House, Van Gogh Museum and the Heineken Brewery, between other famous attractions. The hotel is well-known for its large and special venue called the WinterGarden. This venue brings the 19th century to life with his outstanding architecture and hosting up to 1500 people in reception setting. The slanted glass roof and light colors makes it looks even larger. In total, there are 15 meeting rooms throughout the hotel, whereof the smallest can hold up 8 people. The hotel has an in-house audiovisual department that can assist you with all AV requests. Other available services are flower service, photographers, concierge, music and entertainment and many more. The event planners will assist you to arrange your unforgettable meeting or event by offering a personal touch to ensure your satisfaction. Every morning, breakfast is served in the WinterGarden from 6:30am – 11:00am. The Grand Café Krasnapolsky offers a unique lunch and dining experience throughout the day. Offering a high variety between classical dishes with a modern twist to small dishes and fresh salad. While enjoying your dish, you will be taken back in time by the café’s beautiful interior. The White Room is our unique restaurant. 18 months after opening its doors for the first time. We are proud to announce the restaurant has proudly received its first Michelin star! Their fabulous team, under the guidance of Chef de Cuisine Randy Karman, does its utmost to deliver wonderful food and a dining experience every time. The White Room creates dishes under the signature of Jacob Jan Boerma combining the best Dutch ingredients with worldwide influences. With this Michelin star their effort has truly been acknowledged and rewarded. Named in tribute to the original owner of the hotel, Bar The Tailor serves up liquid works of art. Liqueurs are sourced from distillery Wynand Fockink located just next door. Sink into a leather armchair with a drink in hand, or venture into the cozy Summergarden. Opened everyday from 5pm. With 402 rooms in different categories, from very classical to ultra-modern. Some of the rooms look out on the Dam Square, this will guarantee that you will experience the city vibe. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a LED-tv. You can easily access the hotel by public transport and by car. The bus stops and tram stops are in front of the hotel while Amsterdam Central Station is just a 10-minute walk. The hotel has his own on-site parking spots to park your car.

From the Airport From Schiphol Airport you can take both a train or a taxi, with an approximate duration of 35min. You also have the possibility of renting a car, or request private shuttle service, which takes you directly to the hotel from the airport. There is an additional charge for this service, please consult the hotel for information and availability. By car: Although it is located in the city center, the hotel is easy accessible by car. You can park your car offsite, costs are €4, - per hour, or €50, - per day. The hotel has private parking and electric charging points available on-site. From Amsterdam Central Station By Foot: from the main exit of Amsterdam Central Station, walk straight across the Stationsplein square. At the traffic lights, head straight towards Dam Square. You will see the Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky on the left side of the Dam. This walk takes approximately 10 minutes. By Tramway: you can take tram line 4, 9, 16, 20, 24 or 25 at the Central Station and exit at the Dam Square stop. You will see the Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky on the left side of the Dam. From RAI Amsterdam By Metro: Take line 52 to Amsterdam Noord, get out at stop Rokin, from there it is a 5-minute walk to the hotel, the metro leaves every 6 minutes and it will take around 11 minutes to get to the hotel.
