Plains Community Centre
About us
Plains Community Center was known as Plains Hall. The building was built in 1926 as a dance hall and since then has undergone extensive refurbishment and extension to provide a better facility for the community. Plains Community Center offers a smaller more intimate venue than most of the community centers in the area. There are two halls of equal size available for let. The main hall at the front of the center is recommended for dinner dances and social functions, due to its softer surroundings. For this purpose it can retain a maximum of 75 persons for a dinner dance and 90 persons for a disco event, we recommend this hall for social functions as there is a stage set at the rear.
