During their stay, the hotel surprised some Special Olympic athletes who celebrated their birthdays and also prepared a closing ceremony on March 21. These simple sparkles made Novotel Al Bustan an unforgettable haven for them. Moreover, on April 2019, the hotel organized a thrilling cooking competition on April 11 which showed great teamwork between guests and heartists. The competition focused on creativity, innovation and sustainability skills of the participants in whipping up tasty dishes whilst ensuring less waste from raw ingredients. Social responsibility is one of the frameworks of the hotel. The initiative received real engagement from participants thus raised social awareness on food waste.
