The hotel is ideal for car presentations, pharmaceutical companies and large events up to 410 people (theater style seating).All meeting rooms have natural daylight, air condition and no pillars. The largest meeting room with 441m² has a maximum capacity of 270 people in classroom style and 410 people in theater style. In total the Munich Marriott Hotel has 13 meeting rooms (from 29m² to 441m²). Renovation done in September 2013. New meeting concept attracting the generation "Y".

Located right at the heart of Munich the famous town hall with its popular glockenspiel show is an ideal meeting place for tourists and locals alike. Situated at the center of Marienplatz square on top of the roof of the town hall, the glockenspiel chimes twice a day, once at 11am and once at 12pm. Arguably one of the most famous tourist attractions in Munich, the Marienplatz square can easily be reached by public transportation. From our hotel it takes about 10 minutes to reach the square. From there, both the Viktualienmarkt (a typical Bavarian farmers’ market and beer garden) and Kaufingerstraße (a street lined with shops between Marienplatz square and Karlsplatz Stachus square) are in walking distance.

You can find the English Garden just a short walk away from our hotel. When the weather is nice and sunny and you have either already visited downtown Munich or are looking for a relaxed day, the English Garden is the perfect place to go. You can walk all the way down from the hotel to the Marienplatz. During your walk you will get to explore the lake, where you can rent small boats to row over the lake. You can have lunch at the beer garden garden at the Chinese Tower, and nearly at the southern end of the park, just before entering Old Town, you can see the Eisbach creek where surfers riding the man-made waves entertain the by passing crowds. The English Garden is also a great place to have picnics and relax on the grass, just as most Munich locals do after work or university, as the Ludwig Maximilian University is located right beside the English Garden.
