Taxi: It's a 20-30 minutes trip and is around €30. Aerobus shuttle: Drops off at Atocha, Cibeles (night) and O'Donell-Doctor Esquerdo to Airport T1,T2 and T4 and costs 5€. Subway: Take L8 from airport to Mar de Cristal. Disembark at the Colombia station. From there you can walk ten minutes to the hotel. (approximately 38 min). If you are in the city for a few days buy a T-10, Multi-person card for 10 journeys, (€12,20). It's cheaper than a single ticket (1,50€). From Chamartin Station: you may take Metro Line 10 direct to Cuzco station and walk five minutes to the hotel. From Atocha Station: you may take a train to Nuevos Ministerios station where you will transfer to Metro Line 10. Disembark at the Cuzco station and walk to the hotel. Atocha station (AVE HIGH SPEED TRAIN)

On 9 February 1851 Spain's second railway was opened, linking Madrid and Aranjuez, and with it the capital's first railway station, Atocha, at that time a simple stopping point with a wooden platform. The station was subsequently expanded, in 1865 and 1892. The most notable feature of the work done in the latter year is the roof over the central section. Designed by the engineer Saint-James and measuring 152 metres long by 48 metres wide and rising to a height of 27 metres, it has become one of the city's best-known landmarks.

Reina Sofia Museum
