MCAN Welcomes New AdviseMI Program Supervisor
We are pleased to announce the hiring of Ashley McCloud as the new AdviseMI program supervisor for east Michigan. Ashley graduated from the University of Michigan-Flint with her bachelor's degree in Health Education. Following graduation, she joined AmeriCorps as a VISTA with the Michigan Nonprofit Association and helped provide college access and success programming for the Flint Community Schools. We know she will be a great asset to the AdviseMI team. Welcome Ashley! |
Four Openings Still Available for AdviseMI 2019-20 Cohort
The AdviseMI program still has adviser openings in four locations:
- Pine River High School/Marion High School
- Port Huron High School
- Mayville High School/Reese High School
- Vassar High School
Interested applicants must be recent college grads who wish to make an impact by helping Michigan high school students navigate the college exploration process and matriculate to college. Advisers will serve during the 2019-20 academic year. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree with a 2017, 2018, or 2019 graduation date. Learn more and apply.
