Greetings!
I was looking online for a beautiful winter scene, and I then I came across this! I thought, yes! This is my wish for all of you. Less stress and the very best.
It’s that time of year when most can start to wrap up some lose ends at work and maybe take a few days to catch up at home, make holiday plans, spend some time with loved ones and just maybe some time for yourselves.
I know this holiday season will look much different for many of you. Maybe your family gatherings are via Zoom, or a speaker phone. But the magic of Christmas is still alive! Those who have small children at home will still be woken to sheer excitement of Santa having come. The spirit of giving, the food, the feeling of what the true meaning of Christmas is - still alive! It can happen even if we aren’t physically able to be with our friends and family.
I’ve noticed or been made aware that some of you are dealing with the effects of Covid this season and my heart goes out to you and your families. It is a reminder how precious and special life really is. This holiday season, I will be reflecting on the importance of my friends and family and how I can be better at making the most of any opportunity I have to reach out and connect with them, even if it’s not in person. So enjoy the egg nog, the cookies, the ham, the steak or whatever holiday treats make you smile.
Merry Christmas – Happy Holidays, however you choose to celebrate!
