FRESNO, Calif. - The WET Center congratulates business member AHV on their extraordinary growth and accomplishments during their first year in the United States market.
“As a business incubator, it’s our goal to grow healthy businesses and help members overcome the obstacles that can hinder a successful start. When we see our members reach significant milestones, we are proud to share in that success and acknowledge the foundational support the WET Center provides” said WET Center Director, Helle Petersen.
Animal Health Vision (AHV) became a WET Center member in 2020. AHV applies quorum sensing (QS) science to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to overcome significant obstacles in the animal health sector. Here in the United States, the company is focused specifically on helping dairy farmers care for their cows and calves without the use of antibiotics.
WET Center members, including AHV, have access to workspaces available at the Fresno State facility which include office, meeting, and plug-and-play spaces. The location, in California’s Central Valley, offers important opportunities for ag tech companies to develop and grow. Since becoming a WET Center member, AHV has grown from a team of four in California, to nearly 40 employees across the country serving more than 350 dairy customers.
“We are very appreciative and happy to have the support we have received from the WET Center. Having the space to work on our company and to see our vision of establishing a high-quality and healthy dairy and food supply chain, leveraging the principles of quorum sensing (QS), has been incredible. After becoming a member, we have achieved so much!” said Laura Pires, Marketing Director for AHV USA.
