Graduate employment above national average
The
Graduate Outcomes Survey measures employment, salary outcomes and
further study activities of graduates. The Survey forms part of the
national Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching.
The latest results show 74.1% of GBS graduates secure full-time employment within four months of graduation, that’s above the national
average!
Interestingly, the median graduate salary for Griffith graduates is $57,400. Cha-ching!

Winter in The Netherlands
During this short course in January 2019 students will
participate in interactive workshops that focus on skills and personal
development in both entrepreneurial and general topics. The course
consists of modules (which include either (guest) lectures, workshops,
company visits or coaching sessions) that take place both on and off
campus, and are delivered in English.

Study Ecotourism in India
This three week field studies trip will take place in Nov/Dec 2018 and will focus on the growing community-based ecotourism sector in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.
The trip will cover community-based homestays, ashrams, the majestic Himalayas, holy rituals on the banks of the Ganges, and wildlife safaris in India's oldest national park.

AGL Energy Honours Scholarship for women
The AGL Energy Honours Scholarship valued at $9,000 is open to full-time female students applying to and enrolling in the GBS Honours Program.
To be eligible you must be undertaking your thesis in the field relating to "Energy in Australia" which may include specific topics such as: Carbon trading; electricity deregulation; market design; electricity derivative trading; system planning; vertical integration; competition; energy regulation; power station project financing; derivative pricing; energy policy and sustainability.

The Yunus Social Business Centre here at Griffith University was set up to equip students and the community with the knowledge, capacity, and opportunities to innovate and create social impact through business.
The Centre recently launched the Social Entrepreneur in Residence program.
