|
| | Hello WMCA Members, | Well, we did it! Together, we successfully ran one of the largest elections we’ve seen, and it was no small feat. Each of us has a lot to be proud of, and our work demonstrates the dedication and professionalism of municipal clerks across Wisconsin. | As we head into Thanksgiving, I hope everyone finds a moment to unwind and enjoy time with family and friends. I know there isn’t much rest for the weary—we’re all working hard to wrap up our budgets and get those property tax bills ready! | The WMCA Finance Committee will be meeting shortly to plan our budget for next year, and the Board of Directors will gather next week as well. Meanwhile, many of our committees are already back to work, making progress on exciting projects for our association. There’s a lot to look forward to, and I can’t wait to share more details soon. | Until then, please take care of yourselves, enjoy a little well-earned rest, and let’s finish this year strong. | All the best, Elena Hilby President, Wisconsin Municipal Clerks Association |
