PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
As we begin this new fiscal year with our IFMA Family, I want you to know we are in this “ALL TOGETHER”. This is this year’s theme to engage, assist and support one another through these uncertain times.
I have always known I can count on each member in their own way in the past, but I want everyone to make a conscious effort to reach out and touch base with all of our support team here at IFMA. If you are an FM, call that vendor when you don’t even need them. If you are an Associate, send a reminder you are in this “ALL TOGETHER” for the long haul.
We might not be physically together in the near future, but each one of us is still here for each other as this new year begins. Don’t wait until needed! Reach out today to say hello and you are missed!

GTC OF IFMA RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
This year’s Ronald McDonald House event was a little bit different but still was a great success. Thanks to the members we raised a total of $680 and with those funds raised we purchased dinner from Mavericks Smokehouse and Taproom. This local purchase not only supported the families staying at the house, but it also supported a local Durham business that has done so much to give back to the community.
Families had their choice of a chicken, pork or brisket dinner complete with green beans and mac & cheese. The remaining $300 in funds raised were donated directly to the house to help with the purchase of general supplies and more importantly Covid 19 specific cleaning and preventative measure supplies for staff and residents. Thank you to all who participated!

DONATION TO THE WAKE TECH FOUNDATION
The GTC of IFMA Professional Development Committee in conjunction with the Board is pleased to have donated $1500.00 to the Wake Tech Foundation. With our support, Wake Tech can continue to provide exceptional programs that benefit students, faculty and staff.
"We can't begin to thank you enough for your gift of $1,500.00 to the Wake Tech Foundation!
At times like these, knowing there are others that embody generosity is humbling and inspiring. The fact you are thinking of others, at what is a worrying and difficult time for us all, speaks volumes of your kindness and compassion."
