As most of our properties are located in Las Vegas, we recognize water as a crucial resource that we use in almost every facet of our operations. That’s why we’ve committed to sustainable and efficient water use: our world-famous Fountains of Bellagio are fed with water from onsite wells, avoiding the use of Colorado River water; more than 90% of the water in the awe-inspiring Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay is reused; we’ve even replaced more than 200,000 square feet of grass across our resorts with water-efficient alternatives.
MGM Resorts believes our planet deserves a brighter future—which is why we’ve pledged to a goal to source 100% renewable electricity in the US by 2030. Our Mega Solar Array in Nevada features 323,000 solar panels and provides up to 90% of the daytime energy of all of our Las Vegas Strip resorts. We’ve also invested millions into making our lighting, heating, and air conditioning systems more energy efficient across our resorts, creating a holistic experience that’s future focused.
