Three major highways serve the region. Interstate 5 carries traffic north and south from Mexico to Canada and State Highway 58 swoops in from Eastern Oregon. State Highway 126 follows the McKenzie River out of the high Cascades to Eugene, before heading over to the Pacific Coast.
