Accra
Accra, the capital and largest city of Ghana, sits on the Gulf of Guinea in West Africa. It is a dynamic destination with a rich history and a growing economy. In recent years, the city has seen significant Chinese investment for infrastructure development.
Accra boasts Labadi Beach, also known as Paradise Beach, which offers leisure opportunities and hosts many event venues. The city is served by Kotoka International Airport (ACC), located about six miles northeast of the city center. Several airlines, including Alitalia, British Airways, Delta, Iberia, KLM, and TAP, operate flights to and from Accra.
For conferences and conventions, the Accra International Conference Center in the Christiansborg area is a prominent venue. It can accommodate up to 6,000 people and features six exhibit halls, the largest seating 1,600, and five meeting rooms, two of which can hold up to 205 attendees.
