The smallest district of Frankfurt with its idyllic location on the river Main is complete again. After years of construction work between the Römer and the cathedral, the project of the old town reconstruction was completed in 2018.
2. Römer/City Hall
This former Patrician Villa, featuring a three-gabled Roof, has served as Frankfurt´s City hall since 1405. It continues to be the seat of the city´s Lord Mayor to this days.
3. St. Pauls Church
Consecrated in 1833, this church hosted the first German national assembly in 1848. It was here that the basis for Germany´s present-day constitution was formed. Today, the church is used as a venue for Award ceremonies as well as political and cultural events.
