The 2025 Poultry Tech Summit is seeking submissions to present in person at the Summit on November 4 or 5. The deadline to submit is April 11, 2025.

The Summit is scheduled for November 3-5, 2025, at the Atlanta Airport Marriott in Atlanta, Georgia USA. Please do not submit an abstract if you are not sure you will be able to attend the Poultry Tech Summit in Atlanta during those dates.

You can submit to present for one of two types of presentation, Innovation or Technology. 

Innovation presentation – describes an innovation which could significantly impact the poultry supply chain. Innovators must be seeking investment to develop their product for market, looking to license their intellectual property, or are looking for partners to help them field trial the idea to be considered in this category.

Innovators will be allotted 10 minutes for their presentations. It is recommended that no more than 15 slides be included in your presentation. Presenters must be willing to answer questions from the audience after their presentations.

Technology presentations – Individuals or corporations wishing to make a presentation about a significant advance in technology that may impact the poultry supply chain in the future may make submissions to be presenters at the Poultry Tech Summit. These presentations must not be tied to any product and should address a significant move forward in application of technology or recent research on a significant industry problem which may have a technological solution.

Technology presenters will be allotted 15 minutes for their presentations. Presenters must be willing to answer questions from the audience after their presentations.

WHAT TO SUBMIT

A review committee will review all submissions for:

  • Potential impact of application of the Innovation or Technology
  • Significance of the challenge that the Innovation or Technology is intended to address
  • Likelihood that the Innovation or Technology developed into a commercial application
  • Proposed speaker’s experience or background with the topic
  • Evidence of previous speaking experience
  • Clear explanation of how the Innovation or Technology works
  • Explanation of why this Innovation or Technology application is different from current practices.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

  • Abstracts must be written in English.
  • The abstract should sufficiently explain the topic, especially how it is unique or based on new information — but please do not submit a full paper.
  • The potential speaker’s expertise in or knowledge of the topic should also be clear.
  • Abstracts must be received no later than April 11, 2025. After this deadline, the abstract submission system will no longer accept submissions. Any requests for late submissions will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

AFTER REVIEW OF SUBMISSIONS

All submissions will be reviewed within six weeks after the April 11 deadline; you will receive an email about whether your submission has been accepted.

If your abstract is chosen for presentation, you will receive a PowerPoint template to use to create your presentation, including a set range of number of slides and amount of information or bullet points to include on each slide. Please use and follow this template.

Authors will be required to sign a copyright release to permit materials submitted to be used for publication before and after the Summit. You will also be required to provide a photo (head shot) by a specified date, as well as other files.

Failure to provide required files and information by the specified deadlines could result in your being replaced as a speaker the 2025 Poultry Tech Summit.

All presenters are must make their own travel and hotel accommodations to attend the Summit and are responsible for the cost of these. They are also required to register themselves for the Summit at the reduced Innovator and Technology presenter rate of $495 for the Early Bird Rate or $545 after the Early Bird date has passed. Registration for the Summit will open in June.
