Presentation Submission Guidelines

The recommended topic description length is no more than 250 words. Presentation titles should be short, but descriptive. Catchy titles, indicating benefits to the audience are encouraged. Presentation titles are limited to 84 characters. Please do not send supplemental materials (photos, articles or reports) with your submission. These will not be seen by the program review committee.

Based on the CHUG attendees’ evaluations, users prefer presentations that contain information they can integrate into their clinic workflows or implement at their sites once they leave the conference. The primary/submitting author will receive an email message confirming the receipt of the submission. Please notify your co-presenters that the confirmation was received.
Judging Procedures and Deadlines:
  • All submissions must be received by Friday, June 14, 2019
  • All submissions are reviewed by the Conference Planning Committee.
  • Proposals constituting sales pitches for products or services will not be considered in the main portion of the conference program.*
  • Announcements of selected presentations will be made End of June 2019.
  • Speakers selected for the regular agenda are required to submit their presentation to the Planning Committee for review by Friday, September 4, 2019
  • After the review and final editing process, final presentations will be due, Friday, September 20, 2019. Presentations will be posted prior to the conference on the Conference Mobile App for attendees to view and download.
  • Complete instructions for presentation will be provided upon notification of a paper's acceptance.

* If you are a 3rd party supplier and are interested in being guaranteed a spot on the agenda, then please purchase a sponsor package that includes an educational session. There will be limited number of these packages available.

  • Each approved presentation will receive up to 2 discounted registration fees or complimentary day pass.
  • The discount amount is $250.00
