Overview
The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Division of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, Office of Crisis and Transitions and the Office of Learning and Talent Acquisition are pleased to announce this Call for Proposals for the 2025 DD Learning Collaborative (DDLC). The DD Learning Collaborative is scheduled for September 9, 2025 - September 11, 2025 at the Callaway Resort & Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia.
The theme this year is Pathways to Possibilities: Dreaming BIG, Achieving Aspirations. Each year, the DDLC planning committee invites a dynamic group of plenary and workshop presenters to share their extensive knowledge and experience with our attendees. The DDLC planning committee is always seeking ways to improve our attendee's experience.
The DDLC Call for Proposals website provides details on the DD Learning Collaborative, plenary/workshop requirements, intended audience, topics, and the presentation review and selection process.
This conference will feature a variety of sessions designed to foster a mindset of growth and promote best practices within the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) service delivery system. Attendees will gain valuable insights into supporting individuals as they pursue and achieve their aspirations.
Service providers across the state of Georgia provide on-going support, care, and resources to individuals with a wide range of intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, transitioning from institutional settings back to the community. The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Division of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, Office of Crisis and Transitions and the Office of Learning and Talent Acquisition support professional development for service providers through the Developmental Disability Learning Collaborative (DDLC) sessions.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage with distinguished experts in the field through plenary sessions, interactive workshops, and organizational exhibit tables. Subject-matter specialists will lead tailored sessions designed for all levels of service providers, from managers to paraprofessionals.
