Conference Learner Outcomes:

  • Engage participants in immersive learning activities
  • Demonstrate knowledge of simulation use to improve teamwork, safety, and patient outcomes
  • Identify innovative simulation education or training strategies
  • Identify inter-professional or team-focused educational or clinical practice learning opportunities
  • Discuss innovative simulation center management or operations strategies
  • Examine simulation research opportunities

Abstract Guidelines

  • Word limit is 250 words, not including the title.
  • The body of the abstract must include:
    • Two to three (2-3) learner outcomes
    • Brief description including: Learner engagement strategies
    • Findings with implications to simulation in healthcare and the needs of customers (patients, students, professionals, etc.)
  • Research in progress is acceptable if preliminary results are available and provided in the submitted abstract with further results provided at the conference
