The New York State Office of Victim Services (OVS) invites proposals for workshop presentations at the OVS 2021 Conference, 20 Years Later: Mass Casualty Events and the Evolution of Victim Services, to be held August 25-26, 2021 at the New York Marriott Downtown in New York, NY. 

This statewide professional development conference is for victim services advocates, providers and allied professionals with varied levels of experience from all over New York State. OVS 2021 Conference workshops are scheduled for 75 minutes in length and can focus on four key themes:

• Lessons Learned: How Mass Casualty Response has Shaped Victim Services
• Coordination and Collaboration: Working with Community Partners
• Responding to Change: Creative Solutions in Victim Services
• Doing More with Less: Making the Most of Limited Resources

All selected presenters will be eligible for reduced registration fees and reimbursement for the cost of travel and overnight accommodations. In addition, virtual attendance/presentation options may be considered at a later date depending on COVID-19 safety protocols and guidance in place in the coming months.
