The National Criminal Justice Training Center (NCJTC) of Fox Valley Technical College announces the School Resource Officer Training Conference in Appleton, WI on June 10 - 12, 2025. The conference focuses on critical issues impacting the safety of schools, youth, and communities. Conference sessions highlight best practices, lessons learned from relevant cases, and current or emerging trends in addressing school violence through crime prevention and response strategies.

 

Those that attend this conference will be able to: identify effective strategies to reduce the potential for crime and violence in schools, examine best practices and lessons learned in response to critical incidents, explore relevant case studies related to school safety and security, discover current trends related to at-risk youth, and consider planning and preparation for critical incident response.

 

We are seeking submissions that will engage the audience through lecture, interactive and hands-on instruction, case studies, experiential learning, and skill enhancement instruction.
