Late Breaking Abstract Submission

AGBT welcomes late-breaking submissions for the Precision Health Meeting. Submissions will be reviewed by members of our scientific organizing committee. You can submit your abstract for an oral or poster presentation.

Individuals interested in submitting an abstract should carefully check for content errors, spelling, names, etc. before submitting. AGBT does not proofread for correct spelling, typographical, grammatical, or scientific errors. Changes cannot be made after the submission deadline.

Please read all details below. Once you are ready, click Submit Abstract. You will be asked to log in to your account. If this is your first time logging in, click Need to create an account at the bottom of the pop-up page.

Please Note: You do not need to register as a requirement to submit an abstract.

Abstract Categories

There are no designated submission categories. Submit your most relevant advances and research.

Abstract Submission Dates

Abstracts will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. (CDT) on Monday, August 5, 2024. All abstracts received during this period will be treated equally, regardless of submission time.

Submitting Author Email

All correspondence regarding this abstract will be sent to the Presenting Author. Please make sure the email for the submission is the email for the presenting author. A confirmation email will be sent upon abstract submission; please be sure to check your inbox as well as the spam folder.

Notification

Abstracts submitted by Monday, August 5, 2024, will be notified of their acceptance or denial by Tuesday, August 6, 2024. If you have not received notification by Wednesday, August 7, 2024, please email Abstracts@EventSupportHQ.com. 

Please note, we do not guarantee that all submitted abstracts will be selected for presentation.

Request for Withdrawal

Prior to the deadline, an abstract may be withdrawn from the website at any time. If you wish to withdraw your abstract, please "Login" to your account, select "My Submissions" and select "Withdraw". After the deadline, an abstract may be withdrawn only by written request from the Presenting Author. The request may be emailed to Abstracts@EventSupportHQ.com and must be received by Monday, August 5, 2024.

Publication in Online Meeting Book

If you do not wish to have your abstract published in the online Meeting Book, you will have an opportunity to opt-out. After the deadline, a publication may be withdrawn only by written request from the Presenting Author. The request may be emailed to Abstracts@EventSupportHQ.com and must be received by Monday, August 6, 2024.

Abstract Format Details

Abstract title, authors (presenting author MUST be bolded and listed first), and author affiliations must be listed at the top of your abstract. See the example below.

  • The total length of the abstract should not exceed 350 words.
  • Abstract files must be uploaded as a word document and saved as PresentingAuthorLastName.PresentingAuthorFirstName. Only one presenting author may be specified per abstract.
  • You may submit abstracts for others as well as yourself. Please make sure the email for the submission is the email for the presenting author.
  • Only one abstract may be submitted per presenting author.

Tips for Submitting Your Abstract

  • Make sure the abstract title is bolded and is the first line in your document
  • Make sure authors are listed directly after the abstract title with only the presenting author bolded
  • Do not include "Abstract Title" in your title, or the word "Authors" when listing your authors
  • Do not include "Abstract" before your content
  • Your document file MUST be labeled PresentingAuthorLastName.PresentingAuthorFirstName. For example: Smith.Carey
  • Do not label your document as AGBT abstract, AGBT PH Jane Smith, Abstract Final, or any other naming convention. Please use the example provided for labeling your abstract.
