Late Abstracts for Poster Presentation

Are you a bioengineer developing diagnostic devices, drug delivery tools, medical equipment, vaccine technologies or disease screening systems intended to be used at the point of care or in low-resource settings? There is still time to submit a late abstract to the Bioengineering for Global Health conference to share and discuss your research!

Late abstracts will be accepted through October 15, 2023.

Please note: Proof of registration (confirmation number) required with abstract submission. If you have any questions regarding abstract submissions, please email Natacha Cruz at n.cruz@us.nature.com.  

It is not required to submit an abstract in order to participate in the conference, however, in order to be accepted to present you must also be registered for the conference. All abstracts will be reviewed and decisions will go out within two weeks of the deadline.

This conference aims to provide a forum to present research in regards to:

• Innovating for global health: low cost diagnostics
• Establishing effective treatment at the point-of-care
• Funding and publishing global health-related bioengineering research
• Providing training and education as a means to advance global health
• Capacity building for disease prevention
• Policy, Politics and Public Health: Implementing and translating bioengineering research

The Scientific Committee will select Late Abstract submissions from conference registrants for posters. 

PLEASE NOTE: You must register for the conference in order to be accepted. You will be prompted for a confirmation code upon submission. If you have not yet registered, please go to the main conference website to complete that process.

How to submit:

1. Click 'Submit Abstract'
2. Create an account, follow the steps and submit your research
3. Verify your submission by checking you received a confirmation email*
4. Register for the conference
5. Check your email for a decision email

You will be notified via email shortly after the deadline whether you have been accepted or not.
