The 3rd Annual RIA Intel Awards
RIA Intel is delighted to announce the 3rd Annual RIA Intel Awards, a celebration of financial advisors, wealth management firms, and those who support them. The event will take place on June 5, 2024, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston.
Nominations are now open. We encourage you to nominate anyone you believe is making a significant contribution to the industry. Nominate your peers and colleagues – and self-nominations are encouraged and gladly accepted. Want to nominate more than one person or firm in a category? No problem. You can submit multiple nomination forms.
Finalists will be chosen by the RIA Intel editorial team. The submission deadline for nominations is March 1, 2024. Finalists will be announced mid April.

CATEGORIES
RIA of the Year (Under $1 Billion AUM)
Think: A small but mighty RIA that you admire and wouldn’t think twice about recommending.
RIA of the Year ($1 Billion - $10 Billion AUM)
Think: An impressive RIA that has grown beyond a practice and into a complex business for the betterment of its clients and employees.
RIA of the Year (Over $10 Billion AUM)
Think: A strategic RIA that is characterized by unparalleled growth and an unwavering dedication to exceptional client service.
Retirement Plan Advisor Firm of the Year
Think: An exceptional advisor — big or small — to plan sponsors.
CIO of the Year
Think: Not just someone who helped clients beat their benchmark, but who also helped expand or overhaul a team, came up with unique solutions for clients, or achieved some other accomplishment that merits recognition.
CEO of the Year
Think: The chief executive at an RIA — or any company that supports RIAs — that deserves recognition for their ideas, performance, or character.
Client Advocate of the Year
Think: The advisor or professional who has gone above and beyond to service and/or protect investors.
Industry Advocate of the Year
Think: An advisor, academic, regulator, or anyone else who advocates for RIAs. They don’t necessarily have the loudest megaphone, but they are a powerful proponent of the industry.
Most Innovative Technology Development
Think: Something built in-house by an RIA or new third-party software used by wealth managers.
Asset Manager of the Year (Non-Alternatives)
Think: A company that practices more than just good investment management. This asset manager works with RIAs and offers a unique value proposition.
Alternatives Asset Manager of the Year
Think: A asset manager that excels in offering diverse alternatives for private wealth clients. We value broad access, innovation, and user-friendly solutions across hedge funds, private equity, private debt, real estate, and infrastructure.
Rising Stars of the Year
Think: A group of advisors and other professionals who represent the future of private wealth management. Share one or many professionals who you think deserve to be part of this group.
Methodology
There are three types of nominations for the RIA Intel Awards: Nominations by peers, nominations by other industry participants, and self-nominations. Nominations for the same firm or individual in multiple categories are accepted. You can nominate yourself and/or your firm. You can nominate others in your firm or outside your firm.

Data Protection
Institutional Investor LLC (part of Delinian Limited) will be collecting and using the personal data from submissions for the purpose of considering the submission/entry for the RIA Intel Awards 2024. The personal data will be passed to external third party judges via an online portal for the purposes of the judging process and/or the sale of tables/sponsorship in connection with the RIA Intel Awards 2024.
Confidentiality
All of our judges agree to a NDA ahead of the judging, therefore all materials and information submitted will remain confidential and are not disclosed to any party now or in the future. Judges will declare any potential conflicts of interest when the judging process begins. Winning entries may be used in post-event materials to promote best practice, however permission will be sought from entrants before publishing these.
