WE CANNOT CHANGE AN EVENT CONTACT OR ADMIN ASSISTANT CONTACT AS THE PRIMARY SPEAKER.

 

  • Not sure if you are "good enough" to submit a session? Not true!  Our community loves learning from each other, even mistakes.
  • Submitting a session here does not guarantee it will be scheduled into the conference agenda.
  • If your session is accepted, CITE does not guarantee attendance for your session.
  • CITE is not responsible for advertising your session beyond listing in the conference agenda.
  • Conference attendance and meals are not included with an accepted session.
  • If your session is accepted and scheduled, you will be responsible for registering as an attendee or Speaker Only.
  • You must register in advance to receive a pre-printed badge. 
  • Speakers receive complimentary access to the conference for their session only. A discount code is available for up to 2 speakers per session to attend the full conference at a reduced rate.
  • Do not add co-presenters to your session unless they have been confirmed.
  • If your plans change and you can no longer speak or if you have a change in speakers, please email speakers@cite.org 

Session Formats and Details

Sessions  are 50 minutes long or 110 minutes for double sessions. You may request a double session but we do not  guarantee it will be scheduled. Sessions are presented in the following  formats:

  • Breakout Session: One or more presenters in a lecture or interactive format with Q&A
  • Panel Session: A moderated group of presenters who have prepared their topics ahead of time
  • Hands-on Labs: PC, Chrome, and Apple equipment will be available. Hands-on, interactive training in a classroom-style format.
  • BYOD Workshops: These Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) workshops allow attendees to try new ideas on their own equipment.

Sessions are accepted and scheduled based on a variety of parameters. "Sales" type presentations will not be accepted. Session  topics must be relevant to the IT Professionals working in schools and  to those using and supporting the technology used in schools.

Session  rooms will be equipped with a screen, projector, microphone, and power.  Basic connection cables will be provided but please bring your own  cables for Apple devices.

Session Dates and Times

Sessions will be held:

  • Tuesday, November 28 (8:00 am-4:50 pm)
  • Wednesday, November 29 (8:00 am-8:50 am)
  • Thursday, November 30 (8:00 am-4:50 pm)

 

Special Notice for Corporate Affiliate Sponsors (CAP)

If you are an exhibitor, please do not select the CAP Sponsor option. Your submission will be changed.

All guaranteed sessions for year-round CAP sponsors MUST BE RECEIVED BY MAY 31, 2023 for guaranteed priority placement in our schedule. After that, all submissions are on a space-available basis.

If you are a year-round CAP sponsor and do not yet know the details of your session, please submit at a minimum a title, description, and at least one presenter.
