The American Medical Association Accelerating Change in Medical Education Innovation Grant Program will offer funding to AMA members for projects conducting research, implementing innovations or disseminating effective approaches in medical education aimed at preparing future physicians to succeed in our rapidly evolving health care system.
Grant awards of $10,000 and $30,000 are available to individual faculty members or small groups of faculty proposing projects to change or improve the teaching of medical education. Prior projects have included teaching and assessing health systems science, the learning environment, student well-being, coaching and incorporating new technologies.
Projects demonstrating a direct, measurable, positive impact on medical education and related to the further refinement and dissemination of innovations developed through the AMA Accelerating Change in Medical Education Consortium will be particularly competitive.
All funded projects will be considered for additional dissemination by the American Medical Association.
