The Rising Star Student Scholarship is awarded to college-bound high school seniors who have demonstrated impeccable academic achievement and a keen interest in pursuing a career in offshore wind and ocean renewable energy. Each scholarship awarded will be for $5,000, which must be used toward tuition fees. Ideal scholarship candidates must be:

• A high school student currently in their senior year (class of 2024) intending to enroll full time  in a two or four-year college or university beginning fall 2024. 
• Demonstrate excellent academic achievement and community service. 
• Involvement in school projects related to any aspect of offshore wind or ocean renewable energy, and/or an internship working with companies involved the offshore renewable energy.

The Rising Star Student Scholarship is open to any college-bound high school senior who has demonstrated impeccable academic achievement and a keen interest in pursuing a career in offshore wind renewable energy. Self-nominations are welcome.

Application materials must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. EDT on April 29, 2024  and must include the completed PDF application, a letters of recommendation, and a high-resolution headshot. To submit your application:  

1. Click on the "Submit Application"  button below. 
2. Fill out your contact information as prompted.  
3. Submit your application PDF, headshot, and up to two letters of recommendation.  
   NOTE: Each page must include the applicant's full name (first/last) and page number at the top. Use 12-point Times New Roman font, single space.   

Once submitted, applications cannot be resubmitted. After you submit your application through the portal, you will receive a confirmation email (if you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder).
