The Women in Manufacturing Hall of Fame seeks to recognize women who have made, or are making, renowned contributions to the manufacturing industry regarding efforts to support, promote and inspire women in manufacturing. Nominees should currently have (or had, if retired) an established, long-standing career in industry and well documented efforts in support, promoting, and inspiring women in manufacturing.
Since its inception in 2020, 57 trailblazing women in manufacturing have been inducted into the Hall of Fame.
Inductees will be recognized on Monday, October 13, 2025, in Chicago, IL during the WiM SUMMIT.
Inductee Criteria:
1. 20+ Years of Manufacturing Leadership Experience:
- Nominees should have a wealth of experience, clocking in at least 20 years in the manufacturing industry.
- The majority of this experience must include time spent in an executive or leadership role, showcasing their ability to lead and innovate.
2. Advocacy for Women's Advancement:
- The nominee must be an advocate for women’s progress within their company, the industry, and the wider community.
- They should have a track record of initiatives or programs that support and elevate women in manufacturing roles.
3. Spokesperson for Manufacturing:
- Nominees should be vocal champions of the manufacturing sector, actively promoting the field and the career opportunities it offers to women.
- This might include public speaking, writing articles, or representing the industry at conferences and events.
4. Inspiring Future Generations:
- The nominee should have a history of activities that inspire the next generation of women in manufacturing.

Nomination Selection Process:
The Women in Manufacturing Association will be accepting nominations for the Women in Manufacturing Hall of Fame beginning on December 15, 2024, through 11:59 p.m. ET on June 1, 2025. Once nominations close, each submission is closely evaluated by a selection panel which includes members of the Women in Manufacturing Association (WiM) National Board of Directors Executive Committee. Inductees, as well as their nominators, will be notified by July 1, 2025, following the selection process.
*Please note: One candidate per company will be selected. With this in mind, we strongly recommend each company arrive at one nomination for submission.
