We are delighted to launch our call for proposals for the ECIS Libraries Conference taking place in Qatar from 15 - 17 May 2025. This year's theme is Building New Foundations. Our committee members are excited to review your proposals!

We are excited to welcome you to the ECIS Library and Information Services Conference on 15-17 May 2025, where we’ll explore the theme, ‘Building New Foundations.’ Set against the backdrop of rapidly evolving technologies and educational practices, this conference will focus on how libraries create future-ready learning environments that empower students, educators, and communities alike.

We invite you to submit a proposal for the ECIS Libraries Conference 2025, centered around the theme of Building New Foundations. This year's conference will explore essential tracks that highlight the role of librarians in today's evolving educational landscape. The track, AI in the Library, encourages discussions on how artificial intelligence can be used in the library and for teaching and learning. The Librarian as Collaborator, Mentor, and Instructor track emphasizes how librarians collaborate with others and serve in mentor and instructor roles. Library as Place and Resource addresses library spaces and collections, both digital and physical. Lastly, Library as Change Agent will examine engagement, advocacy, and wellness in the library. We look forward to your innovative proposals that will contribute to these vital discussions!

Join us as we work together to build new foundations for the future of libraries and learning, setting the stage for lasting impact in the educational landscape.
