The call for proposals (CFP) for Galaxy 24 is officially open!
Do you have a great story of how you’ve used feature flags and software development, and want to share it?? Have you had a late night or a weekend outage saved by flipping a flag “off”? Have you navigated the trials and tribulations of leading high-performing technical teams and businesses? If so, we want to hear from you!
Galaxy 24 is a two-day technical conference bringing developers, engineering teams, and product teams together to learn AND share stories and best practices all about software delivery. This year, we're exploring the ways teams can shift away from maintaining homegrown tools and legacy processes, and move towards building, innovating, and releasing what comes next..
We’re excited to review submissions for our in-person conference taking place in May 2024.
First time submitter, or feeling nervous? Don’t be! We’re happy to help with your submission ideas and anything else you need!
How to Submit a Galaxy Speaking Session
Submitting a speaking session can feel intimidating, but we want to make it as painless as possible! Do you have an idea you’d like to share? A bit of knowledge about the software delivery space that you feel like others could learn from? You're off to a great start!
First, you'll need to submit an abstract—a description of your topic and talk track. Once you submit your abstract, our CFP team will review it and ultimately decide if it’s a good fit for Galaxy or not. We may reach back out for additional details or clarification, and our team will be here to help guide the process!
If your abstract is accepted, you’ll work with our team to schedule content planning sessions, as well as receive speaker deadlines and a slide template.
Who will be at Galaxy 24?
We’re expecting 1,000+ technical leaders and individual contributors from engineering, developer, operations, and product teams across all industry sectors.
What's the event format?
Galaxy 24 is an in-person event.
Day 1 will focus on LaunchDarkly product announcements, customer stories, and engineering best practices.
Day 2 will be focused on building products customers love and the teams that do it! Developer day will be packed with hands-on workshops and technical sessions aimed to inspire and grow skill sets.
What types of talks are we looking for?
We are looking for talks from both experienced and novice speakers. We offer speaker coaching to ensure you deliver a compelling talk or workshop.
This year we are focused on several themes for both our talks and workshops. We are looking for conceptual/theoretical content as well as examples from real-world practitioners on the below themes.
Technical sessions will be 30 minutes long, while organizational and thought leadership sessions will be 45 minutes.
Have a few speaking session topics? Feel free to submit as many as you like!
When is the deadline to submit?
The CFP closes February 28, 2024.
