Speaker Topics Submission Process

We appreciate your interest in presenting at MRC Spring Virtual 2021. First-time and experienced speakers alike are encouraged to apply. MRC Spring Virtual 2021 is designed to provide a platform to share knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned with industry professionals.

Merchant presenters receive complimentary registration and solution provider presenters receive a registration discount. We require all solution provider speakers to partner with a merchant for your topic. This is a great opportunity to invite your customers to join the conference, allowing them to share their expertise with other merchants.

The speaker topic submission deadline is January 11, 2021.

Ten best practices for successful submissions:

1. Tailor your content to experienced/advanced users
2. Ensure there is no marketing in your content
3. Describe how this session is relevant to merchants
4. Feature content that is new, unique, or significantly refreshed from a previous presentation
5. Include key takeaways - what actionable information can attendees attain from this session?
6. Write a descriptive, fun, and enticing title
7. Incorporate real-world applications
8. Solution providers must include a merchant as a co-presenter
9. Strong live demos receive higher audience scores
10. Showcase your speaking experience

Based on the feedback from our members, we are seeking presenters to speak on the topics of fraud, payments, and security/law enforcement.

Before creating your login credentials, please review the list of topics. Note that the topics in bold text are areas of focus for MRC Virtual.

We also welcome speaking proposals which do not directly correspond to the suggested topics noted on the next page.

All users will need to create a new login to review the topics and submit a speaking proposal. Your login will be used to edit submissions, add additional proposals, or register for the conference. These credentials are not your MRC Member Portal credentials, but a brand new login for our conference management system.
