Fusion is a three-day professional development conference with inspiring keynotes, hands-on learning with subject matter experts, and practical, educator-led sessions. Session Criteria

Presenters behind unforgettable Fusion presentations:

Show impact. Demonstrate how your classroom, school, or system changed for the better. 

Relate to others. Go beyond your story. Create an accessible, relatable session where others can apply what you’ve learned. 

Emphasize equity. Share ways your approach serves historically marginalized learners, including Black, Hispanic/Latinx, and American Indian students. 

Provide time for practice. Give relevant, concrete strategies and opportunities to practice or apply them. 

Get specific. Discuss the specific decisions, data, or evidence-based practices that brought you to this point. 

Surprise and inspire. Show your truly original approach to a common challenge. 

Audience insights

When developing your proposal, consider the diverse audience of educators who attend the event. 

  • Roles: Administrators, building-level leaders, classroom teachers
  • Data/product knowledge: Novice, moderate, advanced/expert level
  • Products & resources: MAP® Growth™, MAP Reading Fluency™, Professional Learning
