In our pursuit of excellence, we firmly believe that quality surpasses quantity. Each contribution plays a pivotal role in shaping the success of the conference , and we are committed to delivering a truly exceptional experience.
With this in mind, we'd like to emphasize the importance of submitting high-quality work rather than focusing solely on quantity.
Spots for participation are limited.

GBTA's Commitment to Professional Development:

GBTA is committed to incorporating diverse perspectives within each session and across the entire conference. We encourage you to submit content topics that will be timely and most useful to travel professionals as the business travel industry’s landscape continues to evolve and restore.

To ensure a wide-ranging selection of sessions, we request proposals include lecture or panel presentations with diverse speakers and audience engagement that will reach varying skill levels and interests of the attendees.

Peer Review and Proposal Selection Process:

  • All proposals are submitted into a double-blinded review process that is completed by a group of volunteers, made up of your industry peers (business travel experts and representatives of the GBTA membership), who are a part of a Peer Review Council (PRC). GBTA Staff do not review or score proposals.
  • The proposals are then scored by the PRC, followed by a meeting to discuss all the proposals at length and make the final selections for the education program.

Review Scoring Criteria:

  • Content relevance to Business Travel and the current environment
  • Compelling session title and description
  • Actionable learning outcomes and takeaways for the audience
  • Uniqueness of proposed content
  • Overall quality of proposal

Download the Submission Worksheet to start planning  your proposal.

To Submit a Proposal:

  • All submitters must create a new profile through the Log In button at the top.
  • If you have submitted a proposal in the past, your past log-in credentials will not work and you must create a new account.
  • It is strongly recommended that all submitters use the Submission Worksheet  as a collaboration tool when developing the proposal submission. All information from the worksheet must be transferred to the corresponding fields in the online Submission Portal to be considered.

If you have questions regarding the CFP process, please email Rebecca Fahed on rfahed@gbta.org

You may save your progress and come back later to complete and submit the proposal before the submission deadline.
