The Bilateral Chamber was honored to host a delegation led by The Honorable Dr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, Minister of Trade & Industry, Republic of Ghana. Held March 2-5, this roadshow was developed in coordination with the Ghanaian Embassy in Washington DC, and supported by HPI, LLC. While visiting Atlanta, Georgia and Houston, Texas, The Honorable Minister participated in a series of private meetings and public networking events designed to foster bilateral trade and investment.

2015 Bilateral Model Arab League
|

On February 21-22, the Bilateral Chamber hosted its 8th Annual Bilateral Model Arab League (MAL) at the University of Houston - Honors College. Student leaders from universities across the Southeast U.S. debated current national security, political, economic, and social issues facing the Arab World and crafted resolutions to address them. Santiago Echeverri of the Houston Community College - Honors College received an award for his outstanding role as Chair of the Council on Economic Affairs. The Council on Economic Affairs was recognized as Best Council, while University of Houston-Honors College received the award for Best Delegation for their outstanding representation of Lebanon.
