Evergreen Healthcare Gala 2011 – Redmond, WA
Evergreen Healthcare Foundation hosted its 10th annual fundraising gala in Redmond's Marymoor Park last Saturday evening. Guests were transported to the City of Light for an evening of philanthropy benefitting Evergreen's new Comprehensive Cancer Care Center. More than 700 guests attended an "Evening in Paris," complete with the Eiffel Tower and red carpet.
Evergreen's gala brought Eastside community leaders, leading physicians and friends of Evergreen together to support the hospital's plan for an expanded cancer care center and to acquire revolutionary cancer-detecting 3D imaging technology, called tomosynthesis. The night was the kick-off event for the partnership with Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. Live and silent auctions helped guest blow past Evergreen's gala fundraising goal of raising $1 million. In all, $1.16 million was committed by guests.
