Calling all Eastern NY Young Dairy Managers: APPLY FOR THE ACADEMY FOR DAIRY EXECUTIVES NOW

PRO-DAIRY and Cornell Cooperative Extension are accepting applications for this year's three-part Academy for Dairy Executives in Eastern NY. The Academy is an opportunity for
dairy producers and agriservice professionals to improve leadership and
management skills, learn from and interact with other dairy producers
and professionals, and develop skills necessary to lead dairy businesses

Agriculture Commissioner Richard Ball and PRO-DAIRY Director Thomas
Overton presented the PRO-DAIRY Agriservice Awards to Meghan Hauser and
Willard DeGolyer, representing Table Rock Farm, Castile and Gary
Gardner, Alta Genetics, Syracuse. These awards are given in appreciation
and recognition of outstanding contributions to NYS agriculture through

Dairy and Environmental Systems Conference Presentations Online
|
The Dairy and Environmental Systems Conference, held July 29-31, 2015, featured a unique opportunity for participants to learn about emerging dairy housing and manure management systems in conjunction with regional climate trends and national and international drivers, along with adaptation strategies for the Northeast and upper Midwest US. The main goals of the conference were to equip attendees with state-of-the-art knowledge on manure handling systems and climate adaptation strategies, as well as to explore the intrinsic connection between climate trends for the Northeastern US, on-farm adaptation strategies, and related dairy environmental management issues. Video taped presentations are now online at the conference website.

The inaugural 2015 Families in Business Conference will showcase the range and
impact of family enterprise, from entrepreneurs to global enterprises
and legacy families. Alumni, business owners, affiliates and students
are invited to take part in this day-long series of keynotes, networking
and workshops. Hear

Capital Region Dairy Solutions Forum

On October 22 2015, FuzeHub will hold a Dairy Solution Forum, free to dairy farmers and manufacturers. The forums have a proven track record of providing in-person meeting opportunities with a select group of business and technical experts to analyze, problem solve and identify solutions to meet specific company needs.
