Re-Opening of NYSERDA PON 2828 - Anaerobic Digester Gas (ADG)-to-Electricity Program
|
Approximately $4 million is available from the Clean Energy Fund (CEF) via NYSERDA to support the installation and operation of Anaerobic Digester Gas (ADG)-to-Electricity Systems. Funding is limited to up to $2 million per project. This funding is available only to projects on the wait list, or “queue” of projects submitted to NYSERDA on or before February 29, 2016. At this time newcomer applications will not be accepted. However, NYSERDA may add additional funds if they become available and invite newcomer applications if the existing queue of projects becomes satisfied. Applications to NYSERDA are due by August 1, 2016, 5 PM EST.
The Cornell PRO-DAIRY Environmental Systems Program, through funding provided to us by NYSERDA, can help farmers and project developers do the due diligence associated with developing and submitting a NYSERDA application at NO COST to the farmer or project developer. Those interested in this service should contact Curt Gooch at cag26@Cornell.edu or by phone at 607-255-2088.
