Types of presentations include (but are not limited to):
· Case histories and project details, including lessons learned, strategies, challenges, benefits, etc.
· Innovative use or enhancements of existing technology, equipment or methods on a project
· Emerging technologies
· Asset management
· Industry trends, issues and concerns
Submission Guidelines
· UIC accepts only unique presentations. If a proposal has been previously presented or is pending approval at another conference, UIC regretfully cannot accept the submission.
· Presentations focused on technology should concentrate on how it benefits the audience, versus promoting the company and/or the technology. This non-commercial yet highly informative approach is a hallmark of the UIC Education Program that attendees desire and depend on.
· Unless it’s specific for an emerging technology session, any presentation proposed by a vendor should include a contractor, owner or engineer as co-speaker(s). Please take steps to ensure participation by one of these parties before submitting an abstract.
· Most sessions will be approximately 20 minutes of presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A. Requests for longer times (45 minutes of presentation and 10 minutes of Q&A) will be considered, but such requests must be made when the abstract is submitted. Final determination will be made by the UIC Review Committee (comprised of industry experts and association advisors).
· Submission Deadline is June 16, 2025
