Abstracts should relate to one of the conference topic areas which are based on ACNL's strategic plan and goals.
Abstract guidelines:
1. Abstracts submitted after the deadline or incomplete abstracts will be disqualified.
2. Abstracts must be submitted online in alignment with guidelines.
3. Abstracts should be blinded (do NOT include organization/facility name in the title or abstract) and do not exceed the 500 word limit.
4. Abstracts should reflect completed work with outcomes to report and not work in progress. Do not use acronyms and do not include tables, graphs or references in the abstract.
5. Abstracts may be submitted for poster or podium/breakout presentation. Any podium/breakout presentations not selected will be automatically considered for poster submission.
6. Provide two learning objectives.
7. Provide two references.
Abstract scoring and selection is conducted by blind peer review. Review your abstract for spelling and grammar prior to submission.
Podium/Breakout Acceptance:
1. Authors of abstracts accepted for a breakout at the conference are required to respond with their intent by the designated date on the invitation and register for the FULL conference by the early bird deadline. Failure to respond or register will cancel the presentation from the conference program.
2. Presenters assume costs associated with registration, travel and accommodations for the conference.
3. Presenters must complete all required elements of speaker release, CV and other requests for CE and ANCC compliance by the deadlines stated in acceptance invitation.
5. Due to time limitations, no more than two presenters will be allowed to present during breakout session, no exceptions.
4. Final version of electronic presentation and handouts are due by the date listed in acceptance invitation. Last minute uploads may not be accommodated.
Items to have ready prior to starting online submission:
PLEASE NOTE: When submitting an abstract you will be directed to another website.
Your ACNL login information will NOT be valid and you will need to create a new account.
You can then use that login information to access and edit your abstract up to the submission deadline.
IMPORTANT: Your abstract submission is not complete until you hit the "Submit Abstract" on page 3 of this online form. You will then be directed to a final acceptance page. If you don't see this congratualtions page your abstract has not been submitted and will not be considered.
