ACNL provides scholarships which support the graduating student nurse in completing their pre-licensure requirements.

Scholarships are awarded to student nurses who have graduated from an accredited program and are in the process of applying for the NCLEX exam.

Selection is determined through a committee process and is based upon the applicant meeting eligibility criteria, completion of the application documents, and available funds.
 

ELIGIBILITY

All applicants must:

1. Have successfully graduated from an accredited nursing program.

2. Provide proof of completing graduation requirements OR proof of Authorization to Test (ATT)

3. Demonstrate financial need.

ATTENTION: You will want to download the recommendation checklist form, that is required, and provide to your professor to complete. You will need the completed form prior to beginning your submission. Recommendation Letter Form  . 

Items to have ready before beginning online application:

1. Proof of completing graduation requirements OR proof of Authorization to Test (ATT)

2. Personal statement (not to exceed 500 words). Those with more than 500 words will be disqualified.

• Discuss your unique contribution to the nursing profession once RN  license is obtained AND
• Describe extenuating financial circumstance/s that affect your ability to afford fees related to pre-licensure requirements

3. Using ACNL’s template, have a professor from school complete recommendation form.
